Dover Street Market x Nike Zoom Vomero 5

Dover Street Market's long history of footwear collaborations has seen mixed reactions due to its strict all-black aesthetic. This style complements some shoe designs well, while for others, it offers little more than the DSM ribbon label. Their upcoming Zoom Vomero 5 leans more towards the former, with the monochromatic black theme suiting the tech runner, and a slightly altered shop logo adding some distinctiveness.

As shown in the images, Dover Street Market — the high-end retailer founded by Rei Kawakubo of Comme des Garçons — once again employs an all-black design. The exterior overlay has a slight gloss, and the Swoosh logo appears thicker than on the standard Vomero 5s, due to double-stacked layering.

The studio images provide a detailed look at the design, especially the modified logo on the tongue and heel that changes the perspective.

While Dover Street Market hasn't announced an official release date for this collaboration, the shoes will be available on June 12th at New Zealand retailer Shelflife. Local customers can purchase them on the morning of the 12th, while others will need to wait for the release at Dover Street Market locations worldwide.
